I will be honest, I have avoiding blogging the last few months... The main reason is I feel buggered after work and have lacked the motivation to start blogging when my head is throbbing, But the second reason has been that I have gained a few kilos over the last few months. 10 kg in fact but no-one is counting or anything :(

I haven't felt up to standard to be doing an outfit post. It's a subject that Im sure will relate to most ladies out there as noone wants to post a picture of themselves to the blogger land to see when they don't feel all that crash hot..

These kind of wacked out thoughts got me quite angry, as I started this blog to post images i loved and to share what i had been wasting my money on, not to broadcast my body type to the world. I 'd hate to think that the only reason I had followers is because of how i looked in photos.

I miss my blogging and all the wonderful people i use to talk to on a reg basis and have decided that it doesn't really matter how shithouse i feel on the outside, if I'm feeling happy on the inside (blogging alway put a smile on my face) then i should just keep swimming and not care about superficial shit like weight issues and get back to more important stuff... like fashion :)

Thats enough dribble on that matter.

Hopefully I will be back to posting on a reg basis and I'm about to start checking out all the wonderful posts I have missed out on....

So as you may have noticed, Ive been absent from blogger world for the last few weeks, but hey everyone needs a break every now and again. These shots are from a couple of weekends back when Paul and I made a trip to the First Comes Love Bridal Fair held at The Oxford Hotel to try get a bit of inspiration for the obvious. The day was wonderful, and I left feeling inspired to start planning for the event.

On other news Paul is leaving me in a months time for his new job up in the mines.. although he has worked up there before, Its was a few years back when I would have recreational activities to make time fly, but I'm getting super nervous this time around. So the next month may bit a bit sporadic as I'm trying to enjoy every moment possible with him before our time is on a schedule.

I'm also thinking of planning a couple of holidays.. overseas and interstate... I'm having a tough choice deciding between Melbourne and Sydney... Opinions?

The weather is finally cooling down here in Perth, though the hot days keep popping up once a week, at least there is a chill to the air in the evenings, which I'm very happy about. My jeans have been screaming at me for weeks "wear me wear me " and today I woke up to the sound of rain, which I LOVE.

I sound so unaustralian saying that, the culture here is to be a sun lover, but hot days to me equal not alot of clothing options as its too bloody hot to wear much else but denim cutoffs and a singlet which gets a tad boring after a month or so, and I get out of the shower without sweating instantly. Sooooooo...hooorah for rain.

I've also booked in to have my haircut next weekend and dyed the following weekend. I'm still undecided exactly what colour I'm going to go, so it shall be a surprise when I do an outfit post.

Hope everyone in Australia is enjoying the five day break, I got told it only happens once every 30 years or some jazz with how the calender works, All I care is that I have another two days off after today.

So I had a day off today, yes a day off from work! I finally got a job which i commenced after my return from Bali. I'm working for David Jones and the last few weeks have been a bit of a blur trying to get myself back in to a routine with working, blogging, and spending time with Paul , not to mention fighting of a gross cold I picked up from some old sick lady on the plane ride home. Airplanes- Germ factory central!!

So today I decided to rip out my Mink Pink dress I purchased from Market in Bali and ran around the house acting like a butterfly. I love how the sleeves of this dress drape down my arms. Hence the butterfly antics.

I've also attempted to check everyones blogs, but with following so many people I still haven't got through half of them. So Please don't think i have dropped of the face of the earth, I'm sure ill be leaving love on your page soon.

Toi et Moi shot an exciting campaign for their A/W11 collection not so long ago. They shot the entire campaign in a 'street snapper' style, channelling the likes of Tommy Ton, Garance Dore & The Sartorialist. Such a great idea... I love the way this collection is portrayed

They found 20 'real' girls in each city (Sydney & Melbourne) gave them their own Toi et Moi outfit from the collection and the girls had to style up the outfit as if it was their own, so adding their own, bag, shoes and accessories.

The result... amazingness indeed..

Ohh and a shoutout to fellow perth bloggers working the label oh so well. Perfect ladies

They finally arrived a few weeks back, but as we have been having a heatwave here in Perth, the very idea of putting jeans on makes me cringe... Lucky its finally Autumn, and hopefully the weather will cool down soon so I can start wearing this amazing denim.

I was sent these images a few weeks back from the lovely ladies at The wonderland on behalf of State of Georgia, but as Ive been a terrible blogger of late and have managed to fall behind, I decided to set it up to post while I'm away in Bali. So feast your eyes on the Autumn/Winter 2011 collection

With a Spanish gypsy feel and boleros and ruffles aplenty, State of Georgia’s A/W 2011 collection is nothing short of dramatic. Signature tutu dresses with lashings of tulle in shades of deep green and purple, knitted jumpsuits and lace unitards are just a couple of key pieces in this ‘bullfighter meets gyspy temptress’ collection.

After quitting my job in January , times have been a bit tough financially as I have had no money coming in, but car loan repayments and credit card bills to pay.

Depressing situation really, but I'm so glad I quit my job, I felt like it was killing my soul. I've always tried to follow the motto of "Everything happens for a reason"

It's the only thing that has got me through the last few weeks.

So after a month of feeling stressed to the max and crying most mornings when I wake up, my beautiful big brother decided to take me out to lunch to try and cheer me up.

I couldnt help but laugh at his silly ways. The boy who hasnt grown up..
as you can tell by the mohawk and gorilla in his hands.

A box full of negatives is slowly been sorted through and scanned by my uncle, he has been working through the box for the last few weeks and using this naff gadget called a photomaker pro. You just add your negative or slides in and click a button and they are saved onto a memory card. Brilliant!
I can't wait to get my hands on more photos! My mum only has photos from when she and my dad got togther at 17, so Ive never seen photos of her as a little girl.

I had such a lovely weekend with my boy, we didn't really get up to much, just relaxed, watched re runs of The Office, and enjoyed being in each others company.. I really didn't want it to end...

I convinced him to cut his hair after having it quite long for the last 18 months. It looks so much better, and he was actually happy leaving the salon after having many bad cuts at previous places.

Australia Day

So my Australia day started off in the worst posssible way, I had passed out on the lounge the night before, waking up to a sore back. After stumbling to my way to bed, I seen the most massive cockroach ever!!! I screamed the house down and made Paul hunt the dirty shit down and get rid of it. Bugs and myself do NOT mix... Then to wake up a few hours later to start being sick is not the most fun way to spend the day, especially since I had made plans to catch up with my dear friend Carla for a photo extravaganza. Which has sadly been reschedule to a few day times.

I did manage to try drag myself to the beach, hoping being in some water would make me feel better, but instead I got blasted by sand from the crazy winds.

So I gave up and came home to watch the latest episode of gossip girl and read some trashy magazines.

Hope everyone had an amazing day.. and yay friday is just around the corner :)

Sorry for the total lack of christmas/nye posts.. The last few days have been incredibly stressful. I was hoping to have a new year full of fantastic exciting adventures, but to be honest the last few days have been hard to say the least. I wanted to start the new year fresh. I had big plans to quit smoking on all aspects, and to try my hardest to get myself into the career I'm desperately after. This all seemed like a fantastic plan leading into the new year, but christ almighty, it's soooo hard to quit. Yesterday, sadly, I done nothing but lay on my bed and cry... I feel like a pathetic whimp, but man it hurts... Also to find out some news that kind takes your breath away in the worst way, is like pain in the most insane way, what's worst is to have conflicting guilt, which makes you think you should just be happy that everything is out and to move on. I'm rambling, but hey that happens with wine and blogging.
